Bop About Dance is run by qualified Dance teacher, Annette. She has worked with children and adults for many years in many settings including schools, theatre schools and theatres. Annette is a firm believer that through dance you can build confidence and learn new skills for life. Don’t get her started on jazz hands though…!

  • BA Hons Dance and Culture University of Surrey
  • Qualified Teacher Status University of Exeter
  • Qualified Jazz, Freestyle and Cheerleading teacher International Dance Teacher’s Association
  • Qualified to teach the Dance Leader’s Award level 1 and 2 Sports Leaders UK
  • Qualified Zumba instructor
  • Qualified Pilates instructor

Employment:

  • Teaching Dance from Foundation through to GCSE and A-Level Dance through Matravers School, Wiltshire
  • Teaching Dance to 4-18 year olds at Curtain Up Theatre School, Bath
  • Choreographing and teaching Hen Parties and First Dances for weddings through First Dance UK and All Steps Dance

Productions choreographed include:

  • Hot Mikado, Peter Pan Junior, High School Musical 2, Grease, The Witches of Eastwick, Fame Junior, The Mikado (winner of Best Opera, Rosebowl Awards 2013) , Company, Alice in Wonderland, Guys and Dolls Junior, Beauty and the Beast Junior, Annie Junior

    I’ve heard lots of great things about your classes and I am interested in finding out more for my daughter who will be 3 end of July.
    I have a son who is just shy of one so he would need to come along to classes. Is this possible?
    How much are the classes?
